Featured Article: Development and Usability of MSafe: A Fall Risk Application for Older Adults with Multiple Sclerosis
Falls are common among older adults with multiple sclerosis (MS) and can lead to injuries and loss of independence. A new TechSAge article in Sensors highlights the development of MSafe – a smartphone app that enables individuals with MS to assess and monitor their own fall risk. The app asks simple questions (e.g., fall history, medications) and includes short balance, movement, and thinking tasks. Bradley Willingham, and Jon Sanford.
