Aging Concerns, Challenges, and Everyday Solution Strategies (ACCESS)
ACCESS is a mixed-methods investigation into the daily challenges faced by individuals aging with long-term disabilities. Participants completed questionnaires and a structured interview exploring the nature and distribution of challenges in activities at home and in the community, as well as their response strategies for managing these challenges.

TechSAge Tele Tai Chi Clinical Trial
We translated an in-person, evidence-based tai chi program to be a small-group class delivered via Zoom that is both socially engaging and accessible to adults aging with long-term mobility disabilities. Participants (N=60) engaged in an 8-week virtual program.

A Detection System to Monitor and Manage Falls Among Wheelchair Users
This study examines fall events among wheelchair users to inform the development of a smart fall detection system. In this phase, researchers collected and analyzed fall acceleration patterns to support the creation of a customizable system that can detect falls and notify caregivers for a timely response.

Digital Assistance Technology Field Trial
This study evaluates the use of digital assistance technologies among older adults with mobility disabilities using a mixed-methods approach. Participants used the technologies at home and completed surveys and interviews over five time points (orientation, setup, and follow-ups) to assess their experiences, confidence, benefits, and barriers.
